Robot/Endhiran is a science fiction with Rajnikanth and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in leading roles along with Danny Denzongpa. Rajnikanth is playing a gifted scientist who designs a robot with the help of artificial intelligence.
1. Robot With A Heart
The robot is crafted with the motto to curb the evil forces and instill peace. Then comes Aishwarya who brings the feelings of love and affection in him and thus he enters society with its qualms.
2. Record Breaker ?
Produced by Kalanidhi Maran, the film is expected to be a multiple-record breaker: it is currently being made on the highest ever film budget in Indian cinema and is also to see the largest worldwide release for an Indian film.
3. Made At A Whopping Cost !
Sun Pictures continues to set new bench marks in movie marketing with Endhiran as the movie is crossing borders hitherto not touched by any. The costliest movie ever made in India at a cost of Rs.190 Crores is breaking all records.
4. The Music
scores for the film are being put up by the Oscar winning music composer of our country AR Rahman with Swanand Kirkire penning down the lyrics.
Even though the movie is going to hit screens in September, the 2 year long efforts have finally paid off real well as the publicity of the film is continuously in positive light.
5. Chitti Chitti Bang Bang !
Rajnikant himself stated that the concept of the film is absolutely new to the Indian screens and therefore a synopsis of the story line highlights that the film is about an invention that is a robot named Chitti
Chitti is meant for the welfare of society but things go amiss when Chitti is infested with human emotions and he eventually falls in love, coming in the way of his mission.
6. Release
After meticulous filming and production for over two years, the film is currently undergoing post-production work. It is expected to be released worldwide on 24 September 2010
.
7. Three versions
The film will be released in its dubbed versions: Robot in Hindi and Robo in Telugu. The film release will follow the film’s soundtrack release, which was on 31 July 2010.
8. Aishwarya Rai
Apart from its unique script and big budget, we definitely have a reason to watch a movie which has Rajnikanth and the beautiful Aishwarya Rai as lead actors. Let’s see how it turns out at the BO.
